\"5050 Cent’s latest advert for the latest film Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ gets a blow from the commercial ad industry watchdog Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for glamorizing violence aka gun crime. <\/p>\n

Cutris 50 Cent Jackson , the cool Hip hop star’s naked tattooed back is seen in the ad with a gun tucked into his jeans. Over 50 Cent’s shoulder a baby’s face is also visible (see image). <\/p>

In Britain 17 people who found the ad offensive and irresponsible have complained against the ad to ASA. <\/p>\n

Universal Music Group’s spokesperson while defending the ad says the poster only depicts 50 Cent’s struggle in the hardened streets of New York and how he came out as a winner of it. <\/p>\n

After investigating the complaints, the ASA found the poster in breach of advertising rules relating to social responsibility, decency, violence and anti-social behaviour and children. UMG has said that the poster is no longer in use.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
