The most unfortunate element in Multiple Sclerosis is not the pain, but the mental as well as physical agony caused by the conflicting connection of the mind and the body. This print campaign for the Multiple Sclerosis Society developed by TBWA Tequila Auckland, portrays this painful situation in a symbolic way.
As Multiple Sclerosis causes scars on the brain and disrupts messages to the body, the communication between the brain and the body become strained. It leaves the patient feel like his mind and body at war. That is why the print ads show conflicting images- cat vs dog, and hunter vs deer
The copy reads- When your brain and body canât communicate, it can feel like they are at war
