Natural ingredients such as Epsom, sea salt, aloe vera, oils like sunflower oil, essential oils like sage, lavender herbs like clay, chamomile and rose petals can all be used to make the body wraps. These ingredients are easily obtainable in supermarkets or health stores. If you have the facility, you can even buy them online and have them delivered to your home. One easy body wrap recipe is one that makes use of a ripe papaya.

All you would need to do is to puree the papaya into a smooth paste and spread it all over your body. The application part can be messy. So make sure you lay the floor and mattress you will be lying on with old towels so that you do not end up having to clean a nasty mess after a relaxing body wrap session. Otherwise, you could just lie in your bath tub. Following this, cover yourself with a plastic sheet. If this is not available, you can even use cotton sheets or tin foil. Light candles around the room or play light or soft music during the rest period.

Lie down in a warm room for about 20 minutes and then unwrap the plastic and rinse the papaya off with warm water. You should be rejuvenated after this.

Once you are done with this, you will be in the mood for a hot drink. However, it is most beneficial for you to drink some water so as to get rid of excess fluids which have been built up in the lymph system.
