Cat and cow pose

Downward Dog

Downward dog yoga pose is considered as one of the excellent pose many yoga lovers love to perform. This posture needs to put weight on our shoulder and arms and hence improves our bone density. For this posture one need to stand straight and slowly bend the body in downward direction, keeping back straight. Now lift your hips upward, shaping your body like inverted ‘V’. Coil your knees and make them touch the floor. Now again push your hips towards the ceiling so that they again form an inverted ‘V’. This pose brings flexibility and eliminates stiffness from your body.

Sideward stretch

When one get tired working all day long, it is the only desire to get rid of all tensions in the body. While sitting for the whole day, our body starts aching all over and one wants to get rid of it as soon as possible. For getting rid of such pains in the bodies, make sure to do small stretches in a while. Doing side stretch can relieve the back and leg pain. Start by sitting with crossed legs for this pose. Now, open the left leg sideways and stretch. Put your left hand on the leg near the foot and bend a little towards your left. Take your right hand up in the head bending it towards the left side of the body. Stay in the position for a while and then repeat it other side.
