Neuro Integration is a healing system that is based on the ways in which the nervous system relates and communicates with the brain and other parts of the body. It takes into account Applied Kinesiology related to the functioning patterns of brain.

Hand patterns when used appropriately with motor responses of muscles can help in the correction of nerve transmissions to the brain and those from the brain to the other body parts. This process thus helps in the healing of the entire body and mind.

Principle

Human brain and nervous system comprises of neurons that seem to connect to each other and form the neural pathways. These pathways help in the communication of signals from the body to the brain and the brain to the body parts. There are spaces between the neurons, which are called the synapses. The effective functioning of these pathways affect the way a person thinks, learns, understands and reacts.

When the pathways are affected it may cause over firing and may also lead to pain. In case of emotional experiences, a person is usually more affected with negative emotional experiences and reactions. This is because negative emotions tend to create more electricity in the pathways. These emotional imbalances can further lead to physical discomfort and pain.

Method

Neuro integration therapy is practiced by a trained expert after identifying the complaints of the client and a thorough case taking is also done prior to beginning with the therapy sessions. Various factors like illness, injuries, emotional traumas, fixed ideas, etc that could be bothering the client are considered.

Neuro integration therapy is administered in the form of touch, massage and also uses the acupressure points to provide relief under the guidance of kinesiology. Specific points are selected and light touch is applies on those areas. The therapists hold their hand and direct their touch in a way that it elicits firing in a particular brain pathway. This can be associated with specific movements of arms to create firing and legs to lock new pathways.

Benefits

This therapy has been found beneficial in ailments like anxiety, depression, stress related problems, compulsive behaviors, anger, panic attacks, post traumatic stress, memory loss,  allergies, weight management and injuries.
