1. Huperzine A

Huperzine A is a Chinese herbal medicine that is derived from a Chinese herb Huperzia serrata. They are known to work in the same manner as cholinesterase inhibitors. Due to this reason, the supplement must not be taken along with cholinesterase inhibitors like Aricept or Donepezil. Huperzine is known to have neuroprotective and antioxidant qualities and is known to improve cognitive function as well. Treatment time varies from 3, 6, 9, 12 months with periodic evaluation.

Pressure that is applied on the underside of your big toe on one or both your feet helps in stimulating the functions of the brain and also memory. A reflexologist will be able to help you assess the degeneration caused by Alzheimer’s and suggest the necessary steps to be taken.
