How to spend your time in Ocean City

Ocean City is a long, narrow stretch of land that lies between the Atlantic Ocean and the Isle of Wight Bay in Maryland, USA with a population of only 7 089 (2012). Ocean City is a year round popular tourist destination with lots to do and experience. We divided some of these activities into five categories:

  1. Activities

o   Water Sports

Ocean City provides a wide variety of water sports, including jet skis, canoeing, parasailing, kayak tours, boat rentals, scuba diving, speedboat rides, and full service marinas. Although Ocean City is not a destination for hardened surfers, it offers perfect waves for beginners or body surfers. Boogie boards are available on site.

o   Beach Volleyball

Rent what you need and enjoy a fun session of beach volleyball, great for the entire family.

o   Parasailing

Enjoy a spectacular view, parasailing high above the water. A bit scared doing it by yourself, tandem flights are also available.

o   Golf

o   Ocean City Boardwalk

Stretching over three miles, the boardwalk offers attractions to all and sundry. The boardwalk is well kept and clean. It can be a bit cold, so dress warmly in the winter. It is a place where the whole family can enjoy themselves with rides, arcades and much more. Given all the attractions along the way, walking the full three-mile length of the boardwalk (and back if you are up to it) amounts to a long and wonderful excursion.
