New Zealand

New Zealand, officially known as ‘The Dominion of New Zealand’, island situated in the south western part of the Pacific Ocean. The country consists of two main islands and several small islands. The two main Islands are the North Islands and South Islands. The native name for New Zealand is Aotearoa and has a population of around 4 million. New Zealand is famous for its rich and diverse cultural heritage and vibrant scenery.

Location

New Zealand covers a total area of 2,68,670 square kilometers of land. Mount Cook is the highest point of the country, which is 3,764 meters above sea level. It is an independent state in the South Pacific, made up of two main islands and numerous small ones.

People

People here are highly sophisticated and educated urban dwellers, who are accepting the modern world with open hands. They are constantly changing themselves as per the 21st century, in terms of technology and culture. However, people here are actually quiet but reliable.

A larger part of New Zealand lies close to the coast, which affects the temperature resulting in mild temperature, moderate rainfall and abundant sunshine.
