1.  The Garden of Cosmic Speculation, Scotland

The Garden of Cosmic Speculation located in Scotland is only open for public once a year.  You cannot compare any other garden with its finesse.  Inspired by academic subjects, such as maths and science, this garden was established by Charles Jencks along with his wife Maggie Keswick in 1989.  The main idea behind the garden’s theme is quite like what other horticulturalists have when they set up a garden- albeit this one is amazingly different.

2.  Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands

The Keukenhof Gardens situated in The Netherlands is like being transported into a mystical fairyland with the myriad varieties of flowers and the placid water body.  This is in itself a work of art and one of the most visited destinations by tourist who happens to visit The Netherlands.  This garden contains 7 million tulips along with the famed Baba Yaga- a Russian black tulip.

3.  Suan Nong Nooch, Thailand

The Suan Nong Nooch is located in Pattaya, Thailand- a bustling tourist location.  Not only does it abound in breathtaking landscapes, but also the entire place gives it a dream-like quality with the beautiful houses, swimming pools, restaurants etc.  This garden was inaugurated in 1980 and was created by Mr. Pisit and Mrs. Nongnooch.  Nearly 2000 people visit the garden everyday and it is well maintained.

4.  Versailles, France

The Versailles in France is a very popular garden with immense historical value as Andre Le Notre designed it for Louis XIV.  This sprawling garden required a lot of hard work as there was a lot of toil that went into laying the flowerbeds, the canals, fountains and the Orangerie as the area was previously marshy with thickets.  It is said that various regiments were also employed to help in its construction.

5.  Jardim Botânico de Curitiba, Brazil

The Jardim Botanico de Curitiba is also called as “Jardim Botânico Fanchette Rischbieter,” and it is located in the city of Curitiba in South Brazil.  This garden in fact is a prominent tourist attraction and is trademark garden that is inspired from French gardens with the characteristic fountains, lakes and waterfalls.  The garden has a massive greenhouse across an area of 458 meters and bears a modern structure made out of metal, much like London’s Crystal Palace.
