New York

New York residents claim to live in the best city in the world. Why not see for yourself, whether this is true or not? This big city and its surrounds with bright lights and people that never sleep has a lot to offer, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square, Little Italy, the Museum of Natural History, and a lot more! Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a geological treasure and iconic site. It has a long history not only in geology, but also in human development. Many years ago, people carved shelters into the sides of the canyon or occupied its caves. Also, explorers documented their travels to and around the canyon as early as the 1540s. There are many activities on offer in the canyon such as hiking and river rafting. There is now a Grand Canyon Skywalk, where visitors can walk on a transparent walkway and look down from a great height.

Hollywood

Hollywood in Los Angeles is known for its entertainment industry; a thriving industry. Hollywood has attracted numerous hopefuls hoping to make it big on screen. It also attracts many tourists looking to bump into celebrities or up-and-coming stars. Some must sees are: the Chinese Theater, the Hollywood sign, Universal Studios, Madam Tussauds Hollywood, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Universal Studies is both a movie studio and a theme park; it is the oldest studio in Hollywood still in use today. Madam Tussauds is a wax museum; a three-storey building with 115 life-like wax models of real-life celebrities. The Hollywood Walk of Fame features the name of recognised stars who earned their spot in history. There are over 2500 of these stars; chances are you will bump into one of them!

Hawaii

Not many people know that Hawaii is in fact a North American state. Completely made up of islands, this island paradise attracts visitors from around the world because of its natural beauty, moderate climate, and rich cultural background. It is especially popular amongst surfers.

San Francisco

San Francisco, named by Spanish colonials after Saint Francisco, is a cultural and economic hub. It is home to a diversity of art, architecture, landscape, and ethnicities. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge creates a vibrant contrast against the backdrop of the San Francisco bay.
