LG G3 is probably going to be the first Smartphone that has a Quad HD (QHD) display. Quad HD is four times the pixel amount in the HD. The screen will be 5.5 in size and use an AH-IPS LCD panel and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This means the pixel density will be of 534ppi. Going by the rumors, LG G3 will be powered by octa-core processor called “Odin,” which is LG’s own processor. This consists of four 2.2GHz Cortex-A15 cores and additional four 1.7GHz Cortex-A7 cores.
Appropriate cores will manage the suitable tasks, thus, saving power. Other sources revealed that LG G3 will also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU. There is also 3GB of RAM and it will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. On the camera front, you will get a 13MP rear snapper with optical image stabilization technique and there is a 2.1 MP front facing camera as well. The leaked pictures show the metallic finish in black/grey, white/silver and gold color. The actual dimension of the device is -146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9mm.
Performance:
However, it is too early to comment on the performance of upcoming LG G3 Smartphone, but the features are giving a hint that the device will surely turn out to be a great performer. The connectivity options include USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC alongside the LTE and LTE –advanced support. The 3000 mAh battery seems to give the users a very good life span. Coming down to the storage capacity, it will be available in 32GB of storage capacity but with a microSD support.
Software:
As far as the software is concerned, LG has used advanced software this time, which will enable the users to personalize all features of their Smartphone. The G3 software will adapt and learn your usage patterns and habits, and will instantly give you personalized information.
Price:
LG G3 will be announced on May 27, and till then we can only suspect the price because nobody knows the actual price as of now. We guess it is going to be nothing less than $200 on contract, or $600+ without carrier subsidies.
