Design
Apple has launched its 8 GB version of iPhone 5c. The phone has the dimensions of 124.40 x 59.20 x 8.97. It just weighs 132g. We loved the colors white, blue, green, pink and yellow. The glossy, plastic shell makes it sturdier and of better quality. The surface is prone to scratches and fingerprints, so buying a case will do the needful. The plastic buttons are self-colored that are additions to its beauty.
The bottom panel houses a mono speaker, headphone jack and a lightning port. The side panel has a nano-SIM slot but there is no provision for the microSD card. The battery capacity is of 1510 mAh. 4 inch is the screen size with 326 PPI (pixels per inch). The touch screen type is capacitive and the resolution is 640 x 1136 pixels, and 1.3 GHz dual-core processor powers the device. Internal storage capacity is of 16 GB and 1 GB RAM. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front camera with a flash.
Software
iOS 7 is the operating system that powers Apple 8 GB iPhone 5c. There is no java support. The device has LTE support, GPS, and AGPS. The connectivity options include dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS and GLONASS, USB 2.0 via the Lightning connector and TV-out via the headphone jack.
Performance
Features and performance are identical to the earlier iPhones. The colors are sharp and bright, sunlight legibility is great, and device has good viewing angles. The 4-inch display is not that happening, as there is plethora of other Smartphones with good 5-inch display in the market. The A6 chip in iPhone 5c is stylish and handles iOS 7 very well. The dual-core CPU is extremely efficient and gives iPhone an edge over many Android flagships. The gaming performance of iPhone 5c is not that good, as it lags behind in the graphical prowess. Sharing images with other iOS devices is fun, as you can do this via Air Drop or apps like Facebook, Twitter, etc. However, absence of drop box and Bluetooth sometimes create inconvenience.
Usability
The earphones deliver good audio quality with ample bass. The 8MP camera is incredibly fast at focusing and image capturing. You can even start the camera app from the lock screen with a simple swipe from the right. The 1510 mAh battery gives your cell a two-day battery life, which is fair enough.

iPhone 5c is available at Rs. 37,000 (16GB) and more than Rs. 53,000 for the 32GB version.
