We have seen the shocking image of an old woman who is knitting noose. We could see wrinkled, anguished lines of tedious pain in her face. The ad simply presented the shocking info about the suicide rate among the old aged through an equally shocking(though silent) image. Here is an anti-suicide effort from The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), in collaboration with the Ad Council and the Inspire USA Foundation.
The PSA aims to reduce the incidence of suicide and suicide attempts among 13 to 17 year old teens in the United States. The campaign, named WeCanHelpUs , tells teens that whatever their problem, there is a way to get through it.
