The Golden Feeling

According to Mahatma Gandhi, love is the greatest of all virtue and physical power. In his famous national movement for freedom, he said- “the hardest fiber must melt in the fire of love. If it does not melt, it is because the fire is not strong enough”. Yes, it is love that melts the hardest rock inside a man’s body. Love, a four letter word, which is easy to read and spell but also very complicated.

Patriotism: a Form of Love

Patriotism, the love for one’s country, we all has it but it is very hard for those who express it. The famous freedom fighters of Indian freedom struggle gave their lives and fought boldly for their mother land sacrificing their family and all others who loved them because of their selfless love for their mother land! If we think that this kind of love is now the part of history, then we are completely wrong. The brave land, air and water soldiers are brave enough to stand even in front of the canon’s mouth if the situation calls for.

Love for Nature

We all love to admire the nature. We love keeping animals in our homes as pets. We feel bad when we see any animal is slaughtered or when we see felling of trees. Many of us don’t know that why we feel like that? The reason is our in-built love for our mother nature. Though some of us don’t feel it but when their cruelty reaches to the last limit, the nature shows its own way of earning respect. The land-slides, flood, earth-quake are the effects when we lose our respect to the nature!

Unconditional Love

The purest form of love, the love between two individual such as a boy and a girl, is worshiped all around the world. If it is in the right time, it results to positive events such as a good understanding family, off-spring, etc. But now days, the youngsters are much prone to have the feeling of ‘puppy love’ or which we call as infatuation. This kind of love has no immediate or prolonged future. Infatuation often leads to ‘short term’ heart break and again after some days, they run behind another boy or girl.

The unconditional love, which all women have in them, is the love toward her child! This kind of love does not expect any kind of return or they don’t have any kind of condition between them. A father may abandon his child but a mother will never leave her child even if the child leaves his mother!

Narrow-mindedness in Love

But in today’s world, we lack this golden feeling.” If you judge people, you have no time to love them” as said by Mother Teresa, we are busy in finding out the religion, caste and creed of the people. We are forgetting that we are made up of same flesh, blood, and organs! We are breathing the same air and working and earning on the very same land! ” There is more hunger in the world for love and appreciation in this world than for bread” as said by Mother Teresa, she meant that love is a more important ingredient to survive than food!

From the above contexts, we can bring out the conclusion that love not only a feeling but also a power of attachment with people around us and our surroundings and which helps us to stay all together like a one big and happy family.
