Spam is definitely very annoying for everyone. It becomes quite frustrating for people to deal with spam emails on a daily basis and waste a lot of time on it. Here are some useful tips in order to deal with spam and spammers.

Blacklist the spammer

While you visit your email inbox, you might really get frustrated with the nuisance of spam emails. This not only wastes the valuable time but also creates chaos among the entire mail inbox with a lot of unwanted and unnecessary emails. In order to deal with this menace and the spammers which attack our emails every now and then, the first step one can take is to blacklist the sender. This can be effectively done via your ISP, email client or even the email host. One can also blacklist the entire domain site if the site is completely a spam site.

Report spammers to respective ISPs

Reporting the spams and spammers is equally very important. Once you report such emails and senders, appropriate steps are taken in order to rectify the situation so that the spammer or sender is not able to send such emails in future. If any such email hits your mail account via Gmail, you can definitely report the incident to Google. However, this might not work every time as various addresses could be faked, but it is always worth a try. In the United States, such emails from spammers could be reported directly to Federal Trade Commission.

Stop responding to spammers

At the first place, if you do not respond to emails from spammers, you won’t be bothered by such spammers on a second instance. While one responds to spammers, they come to know that the email account is currently being operated and a real person is available on the other end. This encourages the spammers to send out more spam emails. Therefore, one should always avoid responding to such suspicious emails.
