When you are worried, if someone comes, pats you on the back and says that everything is going to be all right, you feel good. Those who have a hope, have everything. When you face adversities in life, you need someone who could sit beside you and tell you that it is all right. We all are alike. The way you need a support, each one wishes that there could be a guiding angel or someone who could hold their hand and give them a hope. You do not get one, until you be the one. Here are a few tips to help others ease the pain they are going through:

When you lose hope in life, you need someone to tell you that there is someone up there looking at you. Share jokes and motivational phrase to keep them up spirit. Imagine how you would feel if someone texts you “Never give up” when you are rejected in a couple of interviews and start feeling down and low.

It is a natural human tendency that you skip your food or hate to cook when you are in one of your dark moods. In one such situation, if someone gives you home cooked food you feel good. You must do it even if the person denies. Leave the food on their doorstep with a note to freeze it and eat it whenever they feel hungry. If possible, sit next to them and make them finish the food. You can even try to divert their attention meanwhile or encourage them to be positive.

How would you feel if you get a gift and do not know who left it on your door? It can be your way to bring a smile on a sad face. It may bring about a positive change in their attitude. It is however important that you do not give up easily and try to look for innovative ways to make them feel good about themselves without hurting their feelings.

You may even offer them some good advice as you find it easier to look for a solution when you are neutral.
