[box_dark]Boy Problems: Tame the Roving Eye in Your Boyfriend[/box_dark]
The first thing you need to be aware of when entering into a relationship with a man is the fine line of difference between ogling and letching.
Like it or not, boys will be boys and all of them will have an eye for a pretty face and a supple body. A striking face is bound to turn the eyes of men. So, even though the act of ogling happens to be quite distasteful, it is still classified in the ‘ok’ category. But letching is a totally different issue altogether and is entirely unacceptable. If you catch your man ogling, learn to deal with it or move on with your life. But, if you ever find him involved in letching, speak your mind clearly and decisively. Let him know that what he was doing was not only wrong but hurtful. You may be fuming inside but it is necessary that you keep your cool, at least in front of him, on all accounts.
[box_dark]Discuss Your Concerns[/box_dark]
Men can be rather clueless when it comes to understanding what they did wrong. So, yes, more often than not, you do need to spell it out for him. Clearly state what bothers you along with the reason. Ask him how he would feel if you acted in the same manner with another man. Make him realize that it tarnishes your image in public. If he really cares about you, he will understand his fault and make an active effort to control his behaviour to a certain extent. However, if he does not pay attention to you, it is clearly time to move on; that idiot is not worth your sensitivities.
Nobody likes a nagging woman. At present, he may be letching in public but soon his letching might adopt other forms such as hitting on other girls openly. So curb your nagging tendencies. Remember not to go overboard. Say what you need to say firmly but politely. Your target should be to get your point across in order to improve the situation; it is best not to get unnecessary emotional baggage involved in the process.
Over-possessive women have a tendency to imagine things when it comes to their boyfriend. Make sure that the roving eye of your boyfriend is not one of them. Prior to beginning discussions, make sure that you have not misinterpreted an occasional turn of the head into a sign of lechery and blown the issue out of proportion. This might prove to be the final nail in the coffin of your relationship. Tread lightly. The last thing you want is to ruin your ideal relationship over some foolish notion.
[box_dark]Do NOT Fall for Excuses[/box_dark]
Never be a fool in love. This is not the romantic Middle Ages you are living in, it is the 21st century and it is expected of you to be smart and wary. So, when your man comes up with the most common excuse that he covets other women to re-establish what he has happens to be the best, do not fall for that line hook, line and sinker. Do not, even for a second, believe that reason since if he truly loves you, he does not need to look to outside sources to re-establish it and definitely not by letching at strangers. Be sure to laugh it off and at the least, demand a smarter acceptance or explanation.
The important thing to take into consideration here is the intensity of the relationship. If you know for sure that it is a short-term relationship, you do not have to bother yourself with it. Instead ignore his actions and enjoy each other’s company.
