How to deal with a co worker

coordination among workers

We all meet different kinds of people when we step out of our house and sometimes we learn from them and sometimes we just cannot stand them. The same scenario exists in all the workplaces where you find many kinds of co workers where some are a delight and some others are just too hard to be with. When we talk about irritating co workers then we cannot define them under one definition as there is more than one kind. For instance you might come across a co worker who is always acting lazy and putting off the assignments while you are busy completing them. The only possible way to handle them is ignore such co workers as they are not going to change so it is better to stay away from them. Another kind of co worker is the one that follows you like a tail because he or she wants to learn your skills and take a piece of your expertise.

Such co workers might be flattering at first because who wouldn’t like people who admire them and follows them to take advice but if that happen too much then it is bound to get on your nerves. We will discuss some easy tips that will help you to deal with such co workers who follow you around every minute of your time at office. The first and very obvious way to handle such co workers is to ignore them and change course when you see them approaching. It might be difficult but you can always give it a try and who knows you get what you want.

The second thing what you can try to deal with these co workers is to confront them about the problem. You can talk to them in private and explain your problem in detail and they might get an idea and leave you alone in the future. The third alternative for you is to discuss the problem with another co worker or the superior officer to get advice and it might happen that they might be able to give you a good solution to the problem. Dealing with difficult co workers of any kinds is really a tough job but if you find out easy solutions then the problem might disappear or you may get some relief at least.
